Beta testers of D-Day for CFS3 comment:
"I was really curious when I started flying to see what overall changes to the original CFS3 I could observe. I soon lost count. The improved lighting and smoke effects are evident immediately. The improved FM's increase the challenge as well as the fun factor. And seeing all the D-Day markings on Allied aircraft is the icing on the cake." Thomas "Shotgun" Harrington
"On the second day of the campaign the invasion was launched. I was flying the Spitfire IXb for New Zealand, and chose an escort mission with a flight of eight. When we arrived over the beach-head we let the bombers continue as we circled overhead. Watching the scenario unfold was almost spooky, with flak bursting around us and the sun just rising over the horizon. After we had been in the air for a while we noticed some air activity below us, and I ordered my flight to engage. Coming down out of the sun we had the advantage and we took out two 109s before they knew what hit them. One of my best missions yet!" Rod "Spectre" Johnson
"It was the ground war that interested me, and that was where the action really was during D-Day. I think the improved effects made a huge difference here, since smoke and flame are much more persistent. Later when I was engaging some Ju88s I was shocked to have them engage me at 600m, since in the original release they wouldn't do this. CFS3 is far more realistic now, and the tracers are excellent." Beta testers of Normandy, 1944 comment:
"The Forgotten Battles series had my attention from the start. When I added Pacific Fighters I was left waiting for the Tempest, and for a good D-Day campaign. Normandy, 1944 provided it in spades! This is the best fun I've had so far!" Dave "Ringjock" Morris
"My favorite campaign has been flying the Mossie. It's a huge challenge in a dogfight and sometimes I run away, but it is a fantastic ground pounder. I guess I've always wanted to fly a good Mossie anyway. Near the beginning of the campaign I ran up against a pair of FWs and was hard pressed until my wingman came to my rescue. But between us we got two kills. I was thrilled and never looked back. The new Normandy map with the new effects makes this awesome!" Tim "Eagle" Colburn
"There were two campaigns in the collection that really interested me: the 1945 German campaign and the Berlin 1945 campaign flying the Mustang. Both were good fun, but flying the Gotha was really incredible. I've flown online and offline for nearly four years, but surviving this campaign took everything I had. Thanks for the chance to test and fly." Werner "Wolf" Schmitt
Beta testers of Seawolves comment:
"Silent Hunter is the game I waited for. But even SH3 was getting old and needed some help. Adding the ability to refuel and resupply in the Atlantic made the difference for me. Now I"ve had two cruises with over 100,000 tonnes!" Bill Thompson
"I've really enjoyed Silent Hunter 3, but there were small things that frustrated me.. like the fatigue model. Being able to reduce fatigue makes the game more playable, and choosing a new paint scheme for my sub was also nice. But the world expansion was the best part.. A way more active Atlantic campaign is really cool. I really wanted to cruise into Boston and New York harbors, and now I can. Now if I could only survive...." Josh Franklin
Beta testers of U-Boat comment:
"I enjoyed Seawolves, and I wasn't sure whether I really wanted to move on to something new. But in the end, the addition of so many new ships decided it for me. I didn't know much about the Med at the time, but the change of environment has really made the game interesting. And all the new ships! U-Boat has revived Silent Hunter again!" Bill Thompson
