Northern DHC-2 for Aerosoft Beaver

Northern DHC-2 adds twelve new missions flying in Alaska and Canada. The aircraft is the Aerosoft Dehavilland DHC-2 Beaver in four major variants with a large set of liveries. You will fly the Beaver on floats, the amphibian on floats and wheels, the Beaver on tundra wheels and on skis. 11 missions are flyable with the standard FS X version, and add a bonus mission flying the Grumman Goose on the coast of British Columbia for the professional version.

The Canadian West coast is renowned for its rugged beauty and variety of climate zones. We have added scenic detail around Canadian airports and water ports. Air traffic control is limited in many coastal areas, and the remoteness of locations adds to the challenge.

Similarly, Alaskan scenery is rugged and beautiful. Missions include dusk and dawn flights in three different seasons to and from famous locations like Juneau and Skagway.

Missions include new scenery, voices, and effects, including a forest fire set on rugged Vancouver Island. Canadian locations include Tofino, Sandspit, the Queen Charlotte Islands, Prince Rupert, Skagway, Kodiak and others. Mission types include search and rescue, transport, high country landing, ferrying passengers, Homeland Security and Canadian Forest Service. All types of weather are included, as well as emergency situations. On screen mission goal markers are available for most missions except Advanced missions.

For those who want to make the Goose flyable but don't have FSX Deluxe, download this file set and extract to your Goose directory LINK.
