F-16 Adventures for Microsoft FS X adds ten missions for the Aerosoft Falcon. With four missions in the Pacific and six in northern Europe, you will deploy for tactical training first to the Pacific and next to Norway.

We explore two combat arenas: the Pacific region off Hawaii, and Norway and northern Europe. Tactical training begins in the Pacific as part of Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2008, the world’s largest biennial maritime exercise. Conducted in the waters off Hawaii from June 26 through July 28, RIMPAC brings together military forces from Australia, Canada, Chile, Peru, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United Kingdom and the United States.

AWACS and AAR

The F-16 Falcon is one of the most powerful multi-weapon air superiority platforms in the world, and is deployed by a variety of NATO allies. The radar set is one of the most advanced in the world, and you will use it to engage aircraft in red vs blue scenarios in a variety of strategic environments.

The mini campaign takes you to Rostock-Laage in Germany, where you depart for a set of exercises in Norway. Current offensive doctrine involves the use of multiple airborne assets, like the AWACS (Advanced Warning and Control System) aircraft as well as tanker aircraft enabling air to air refueling. Your training will involve these assets and more, including Ground Control Intercept. You have a lot to learn, but some great teachers.
